My love for French cooking is endless. Especially the genius Julia Child with Mastering The Art Of French Cooking. I came across her beef bourguignon and couldn’t resist but give it a try. The following recipe is my modified version. Enjoy !
- Beef cut into cubes
- Parsley
- Potatoes
- White onions
- 1/4 cup red wine
- Bay leaves
- Garlic cloves
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare your onions and potatoes into slices and sprinkle salt and pepper on the beef
- On medium heat, have the oil in a pot or skillet and place the beef in it to cook on 5 minutes total time
- Once the onions become tender place the beef back in and let the flavor soak together then add your red wine , salt , pepper , garlic cloves and basil leaves then bring the heat low
- Cover the pot and let it cook for 1 hour , check the potatoes 45 mins in to see if they are cooked.
