Italian Grilled Drumsticks

When you’re a student or working, you’re likely too tired to cook a meal after work. Well, same here. So I’ve discovered a way to cook a meal under 20 minutes, it’s marinading the night before! After buying chicken-whatever type and cut- I usually marinade it and leave in the fridge, or freeze it to use another time. Yes, this saves time! You can marinade chicken or steak and cook it fresh everyday. I paired today’s dinner with some fiber spagetti and sauce recipe here!

I using the following ingredients to marinade the chicken the night before cooking it and left it in the fridge overnight.

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks (You can also use chicken breasts)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • olive oil
  • Red peppers or chili flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F and lightly cover the pan you’re using to broil the chicken with olive oil.
  • Broil chicken on high for 20-40 minutes and pierce throughout in order to ensure the chicken cooks throughout.

Serve with a side of pasta or salad.
